Exhibited in 2012 Shanghai International Science & Art Exhibition

This work blends music, video projection and installation art together, in order to reproduce an immersive space of “the old Shanghai”. It had been widely reported by China’s mainstream media including CCTV, Eastday, Online Shanghai, Xinmin Evening News and more. I was also honored with Outstanding Youth Award from the exhibition commission.

The exhibition was held at Shanghai Exhibition Center from May. 17-20, 2012. The building of Shanghai Exhibition Center is a major landmark in Shanghai, it was built on 1955, and was the first exhibition center and the first integrated building complexes in Shanghai.

Shanghai International Science & Art Exhibition was founded by Shanghai Association for Science and Technology (SAST) and Shanghai Artists Association (SAA) in 2004. Since then, science exhibits from over 20 countries and regions such as USA, France, Germany, Italy, UK, Switzerland, Greece, Norway, Poland, Indonesia, Australia, Austria, Netherlands, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand have been shown at the Exhibition. The exhibition has attracted nearly 1 million visitors, and there have been over 1 thousand TV, broadcast or newspaper reports about it, not to mention the large number of reports on the internet. It has become a well-known science popularization event in Shanghai.
